Our 1st Oxford Spark Unit meets on Tuesday evenings at the Baptist Church on Jackson Street, 6:00 - 7:00PM. At Sparks we have lots of fun with games, crafts & songs. We have many outings such as our Sleigh Ride, Bowling Trip, Sugar Woods Tour & many more. The Spark uniform is a pink t-shirt which is available at the Guide Store.
The 1st Oxford Brownies meet at the United Church on Main Street on Tuesday evenings, 6:00 - 7:30PM. We do lots of fun things at Brownies, starting with our Annual Camp in September. Badges are a big part of our program in Brownies, as well as crafts, games & songs. At Christmas, we carol at the Seniors Center and join in the town's Tree Lighting celebration. The Brownie uniform is changing this year to a peach and navy blue top with navy blue pants. More information at the Guide Store.
You will find the 1st Oxford Guides meeting at the High School cafeteria on Tuesday evenings, 6:00 - 8:00PM. At this level of Guiding, the girls learn a great deal of independence through their badge work. The girls spend a great deal of time learning about their community and their place in it, through guest speakers, outings & volunteer services. The Guide uniform is a light blue/navy blue shirt with navy pants. These are available at the Guide Store.
For the first time in Oxford we are pleased to be able to have a Pathfinder Unit. Pathfinders helps the girls grow in many ways, teaching them responsibility, maturity & independence. The leaders have many fun things planned for the year. The Pathfinder uniform is a blue pin-striped polo shirt with navy blue pants.
